Meet Our Authors: NassyArt
We caught up with Anastasia to find out about her journey with Envato, the challenges she faces in the industry, as well as her advice for other Authors.
What’s it like being a creator in your city?
Since childhood, I have been living in Kyiv. There are many creative and imaginative people here and interestingly, we have an incredible number of great programmers.
I’ve been working on my own as a designer/illustrator since my second year of university. It was a great experience that helped me develop and improve my visual skills.
How did you get started with Envato and what do you love about your work the most?
I learned about Envato from my friend and decided to try my hand at it. I love having the freedom of choice and being able to decide for myself what theme and style I want to apply to my new work. It gives me a flight of fantasy!

What’s the most challenging thing about your work?
Honestly, it can be a struggle to motivate myself and not be lazy. But the best way to cope with it, I’ve found, is to have my own scheduling system where I come up with tasks that motivate me to get the work done on time.
How has Envato Elements helped you grow your career as an artist?
I see a lot of cool and interesting designers on Envato Elements. Healthy competition is constant development. I like to look at trendy new graphics and study what other people are creating by analyzing their products. This inspires me to design new things and explore my own creative ideas.
I love that there are no restrictions on what you can create on Envato Elements. On my account, I can track every month what’s most popular and most downloaded, which helps me to better understand what to create and which creative direction to go in.

What’s your most memorable client story on Envato?
My client found me on Envato and ordered drawings for her children’s book of affirmations. The book was published in three languages. I’m very proud to have participated in a psychological project which is helping young generations to better understand and accept themselves.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I like to write letters and send them to different parts of the World. I also sculpt ceramics and weave beads to create girly jewelry.
What is your advice to other Authors who want to be successful on Envato?
Never give up, find your niche, and never compare yourself to anyone else. Instead, compare yourself today with you yesterday. The work you put in now is the best investment in your future.
What’s next for you?
I plan to continue creating useful resources for people all over the World. My aim is to simplify someone’s job by helping with the visual development of their new projects.
