Our latest interview features Power Elite author ThemeZaa, based in India. Get to know their learnings and experiences specializing in themes and plugins, and their top five tips for success!

Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from, what do you do for a living?

ThemeZaa is the brainchild of LinkSture, a digital media agency that is highly experienced with custom web design, WordPress development and bespoke eCommerce solutions using Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce. 

Here we design and develop HTML email templates, themes, and plugins for various platforms such as WordPress, Magento, and Shopify under the name of ThemeZaa. We have solutions for all industries, be it restaurants, freelancers, photographers, schools, and other businesses.

We are a team of like-minded young, passionate, and enthusiastic developers and designers. We are a qualified team of 40+ people who are masters of their profession. LinkSture is one of the fastest-growing digital media agencies based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in India. We have been delivering unconditional web solutions to clients from all over the world since 2007.

To what do you attribute your success – how is your business unique?

We transfer our clients’ ideas digitally by delivering excellent work for every single project with complete web solutions. We are a next-generation web solutions provider by following the most brilliant end-to-end development process from designing to development & testing. What do you love about your work and why?

We believe in the freedom of our work because, without freedom, creativity does not take place. We always welcome new ideas from our team members and we always go hand in hand with our clients. For us, creating a theme is not just the end product but it’s the beginning phase of a long-term relationship with our customers. 

We especially love our work when customers give us great reviews and 5-star ratings, as well as when we see how they have produced a great website for their business using our product.

What’s the most challenging thing about your work?

Frankly speaking, delivering something unique that is in line with current design and technology trends is quite a daunting task. It requires a lot of research time, as well as crafting marketing strategies. Apart from this, it is also quite challenging to get noticed when you release new items, which was easier before. 

Sometimes, when you are new to the marketplace, you might also face challenges when receiving feedback and reviews.

Is where you live a good place to be a creative professional and why?

Yes, of course! India is an IT hub helping to serve the whole world. Also, we have a talented pool of designers, developers, IT infrastructure, a great working environment and a friendly team who enjoys working together.

What or who inspires you and why?

Our customers are our first priority and so, they inspire us in their time and efforts to run a successful business. By supporting our customers’ business needs, we also get inspiration to make amazing and creative products for our clients.

What are some of the biggest lessons that have impacted your work?

Every day we are learning something new and creative, and we are always ready to do this. However, we must admit that we have learnt a lot through our own mistakes. We take client feedback seriously and work to resolve these mistakes soon as possible. 

Also, we never fail to learn something new from our competitor’s work, so it’s important to remember that saying “If you want to succeed, never underestimate your competitor.” 

What’s your most memorable client/customer story on Envato?

Here, we want to talk about one of our customers who has used each and every HTML template and WordPress theme of ours. He was really happy with our design quality, the various features and flexibility, as well as the support provided by our team. He has given us great reviews of our products. Also, on top of that, he has shared positive feedback to the Envato support team to let them know that they should display our items in different category home pages.

What is your advice to other authors regarding how to create a successful portfolio?

There are five things that we want to share with other authors:

• Be focused and give your 100%. Never give up and do not ignore the parts that you do not like because users will not like those as well.
• Make items that you have a high level of expertise in, instead of trying a different area, unless you have lots of time to do some user-testing and research. 
• Stay updated with current trends and technologies.
• Listen to your customers’ feedback to better improve your items.
• Creating a great product itself is not sufficient. You will need to represent your item well and do online marketing to make the world aware of your item.

Apart from yourself, who is your favorite marketplace author, and why do you like them?

There are many authors in the Envato marketplace who have won our hearts by their amazing creative designs and intelligent marketing techniques. However, we are always ready to compete with them by providing excellent web solutions too!

How do you balance work and family life?

We all work for a better life with our loved ones and so our team works not more than 8 hours every day. We believe in a balanced lifestyle with family and work. We follow an open door policy and we respect everyone’s priorities.  

We know that our world is passing through a historical lockdown due to COVID-19 and we are learning to balance our work life, while working from home. So at this moment, writing this author interview, our team is working from home, as well as enjoying quality time with their families.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

Apart from themes & plugins development and web solutions, we love to play cricket with our team mates, where we develop team spirit and strengthen bonds. We also love gossiping! 

We play carom, chess and some other indoor games in our free time as we believe that physical health, as well as mental health, is essential when you work creatively every day to bring amazing products for your customers. 

What are your plans for the future?
